The main objectives  of the project were focused on the following points:

  • We are reorganizing the agencies to make them more functional, productive, and efficient and serve the public interest, economic development, and social cohesion more effectively.
  • Better use of the executives of the agencies to improve the operation of the public administration organizations and increase work satisfaction, accountability, productivity, participation, and, respectively, recognition of their work.
  • The emergence of an organization model to achieve coordination, control, and targeting
  • Formation of structures to achieve concentration and better organization of resources and human resources

In this context, the subject of the Evaluation Project was the provision of consultancy services to the Ministry of Rural Development and Food in the process of evaluating its structures, which included the following tasks:
 
Step 1. Getting Started - Preparing - Collecting critical data for the organization and its policies.
Step 2. Collect information on the assessment of the organization using a structured questionnaire
Step 3. Analysis and Evaluation Report of the information gathered.
 
The agencies of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food that were evaluated were:
•         HELLENIC AGRICULTURAL INSURANCE AGENCY
•         PAYMENT AND CONTROL AGENCY FOR GUIDANCE AND GUARANTEE COMMUNITY AID (OPEKEPE)
 
The Deliverables of the Project were:
P1: Evaluation Report for each of the above-supervised entities
P2: Identify implementation scenarios and evaluate each method for each of these supervised entities
P3: Road Map - Action Plan for Implementing Reform Actions for each of the above-supervised entities
