ΙnterEYE is a research project implemented in the framework of the Single RTDI State Aid Action “RESEARCH – CREATE – INNOVATE” under the priority sectors of Information and Communication Technologies. The “RESEARCH – CREATE – INNOVATE” support measure has been launched under the Intervention II – Business Partnerships with Research Organizations, and is financed by the Operational Programme Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation 2014-2020 (EPAnEK).

The key aim of ΙnterEYE research project is the development of smart tools and techniques for the interoperability of information sources and identification, early detection and elimination of forms of financial fraud, ensuring data protection, in order to enhance the operational action of public bodies and authorities. It is possible to deal with financial fraud and control over groups of companies and SMEs.

The main objective of the project is to investigate smart techniques that will allow direct access to personally identifiable and anonymized personal data. Innovation is centered on the ability to make comparisons and actions that allow all the necessary controls to address & prevent financial fraud by identifying individuals who participate in it but without revealing personal information about other people recorded in files and registers! This is a groundbreaking approach to actively safeguard privacy while cross-referencing files and information.
